DATE

October 20th (Friday)
“If Used Well, You Can Control Your Body This Much – Level 1”
When your core muscles are engaged, you’ll find that parts of your body you thought were “stiff” or “weak” can actually move more than you expected. Through Pilates movements, enjoy the sensation of engaging your core and controlling your body.

November 17th (Friday)
“If Used Well, You Can Control Your Body This Much – Level 2”
By focusing on your core, you’ll experience the pleasant sensation of “moving more than you thought possible.” This session builds on October’s class, using more of your abdominal, back, and leg muscles for a stronger challenge. Enjoy the feeling of a full-body workout without overexerting yourself.

December 22nd (Friday)
“Reset Your Body’s Fatigue. Move and Loosen Stiff Muscles”
Give your body a well-deserved rest after a year of hard work. Focus on “moving” your muscles to bring awareness to your whole body. We’ll release and balance muscles that have been used unevenly due to habitual tension or relaxation.

January 19th (Friday)
“Start the New Year with an Active Body”
Refresh your post-holiday body with deep breathing and exercises that move all parts of your body. Exercises that engage your abdomen, back, and legs will help set the tone for your New Year’s fitness goals.

February 16th (Friday)
“Build a Body That Warms Up Easily by Using Large Muscles”
This session focuses on increasing circulation throughout your body by fully engaging your muscles. At this time of year when the body tends to get cold, simple movements that “use your muscles just a bit” will have excellent warming effects.

March 15th (Friday)
“Set Your Body Up for Balanced Walking”
Walking is something we do every day without much thought, but it engages many different muscles. Through Pilates movements, we’ll focus on these muscles and train them to work in balance. This will make your usual walks easier and less tiring. Let’s upgrade your spring outings into a “balanced body movement” exercise!
