With basic mat Pilates movements, you will move your muscles and joints in a balanced way and become aware of your body’s unique habits.

“Move in Balance and Learn Your Body’s Habits”
Using basic mat Pilates movements, you’ll move your muscles and joints in a balanced way. Recognize and release the “movement habits” that have developed in your daily life, and enjoy the feeling of freeing your body.
August 25th (Saturday)
“Build a Body That Can Beat the Late Summer Heat”
This session focuses on muscle balance, using your core and limb muscles to build a body that can withstand the late summer heat. You’ll learn 3-4 exercises that combine A and B, which you can do effectively at home.
A: Loosen up your body’s habits for a warm-up
B: Strength-building exercises for your muscles

Mat Pilates Instructor
With 18 years of experience in the apparel industry, Mai was involved in research and development related to body functions, posture, and body shape, as well as customer needs analysis. Alongside her career, she began teaching Pilates at hot spring facility studios and through private lessons. After leaving the company, she now runs her own private mat Pilates studio, S.C. Lounge.
