Calme Yoga

“Calme” means “stillness.” One of the purposes of yoga is to “calm the mind,” bringing peace to the waves of the heart. This yoga practice focuses on gentle movements synchronized with deep breathing, gradually relieving mental and physical tension.

Time:
14:00 – 16:00 (lesson starts at 14:15)
16:30 – 18:30 (lesson starts at 16:45)
Capacity: 6 participants
Participation Fee: 2,200 yen

  • Each lesson is 90 minutes.
  • Fermented tea will be served after the session.
  • Yoga mats and blocks are available for rent

September 23rd (Saturday)
Balance
First, focus on the four points of your feet, grounding yourself firmly to the earth. Through balance asanas, you’ll cultivate concentration and strengthen your core.

 

October 21st (Saturday)
Regulate Your Autonomic Nervous System
During the change of seasons, when the temperature fluctuates significantly between morning and night, the autonomic nervous system tends to become unbalanced. Let’s improve this by smoothly switching between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems.

 

November 18th (Saturday)
Cold Prevention
Before the full onset of winter’s cold, this is the time to start taking measures against the chill. Warm your body from the inside through yoga breathing and movement.

 

December 16th (Saturday)
Relax
As the busy days leading up to the year-end continue, it’s the time of year when mental fatigue is at its peak. Both mind and body tend to become tense. It’s important to take a moment to stop and allow time for relaxation.

INSTRUCTOR

Yumi

With over 20 years of yoga experience, Yumi started practicing yoga after becoming a working adult. After her first yoga session, she experienced full-body muscle soreness due to lack of exercise, but after about a week, she felt lighter both physically and mentally. She became captivated by the depth of yoga, which not only transforms the body but also affects the mind. Driven by a desire to learn more deeply, she obtained her RYT200 certification from the Yoga Alliance.
